Just heard some disturbing news. Despite all his rhetoric about the criminality of Mexicans and how he's going to build a wall on the United States' southern border, Donald Trump did surprisingly well with Latinx voters in Tuesday's election. Trump raked in twenty-nine percent of their votes, surpassing Mitt Romney's 2012 tally.
WTF???
Trump got eight percent of the black vote, once again surpassing Mitt Romney's 2012 totals. Approximately fourteen percent of LGBTQ's voted for Trump.
Once again, WTF???
Perhaps most shockingly of all, Trump convinced more than fifty percent of white women to vote for him. Openly misogynistic attitudes and sexual assault allegations not withstanding, these women felt that Trump was a better choice.
